The Pentachaeta Trail and Mountain Biking road is the perfect weekend activity to put your fitness levels to the extreme test. Trail is pretty rigorous for either jogging or hiking and the biking route is definitely not for the beginner. The area has a great view and is perfect for bringing your dogs, or just going for an outdoor walking after work or during the weekends.

Reviews on Yelp continue to praise the trail and say “If you live anywhere near Westlake village or if you’re willing to take a drive up here…You'll enjoy this trail”. Reviews also warn that the location can be “coyote country after dark” so be sure to watch your surroundings and be care. But don’t worry, hiking and walkers have never been attacked by a coyote in the area.

The trail is open from dusk til dawn and free to anyone wanting to go for a hike. Enjoy the trail!
